Summit Park Peak, Run #32

New trail is always fun, especially when with friends and you get lost.  It makes being lost a lot less worrisome and annoying.   It was a beautiful day in Summit Park, sun shining, blue skies perfect for peak running.   The trail to the peak is beautiful pine covered forest and then it opens up to great views on the ridge.   A little power hiking(unless you are super human) at the end to get to the top.   At the top you have beautiful 360 degree views looking into Lamb’s Canyon, Park City, and you could even see the Great Salt Lake to the northwest.   We tried going for a loop run, but we erred somehow. After descending a bit we started climbing again.   In our mishap we managed to get to another unknown peak.    Bonus points right?  The bonus was really just enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning with two great friends.

Those spots are the tiny flying ants that greeted us at the summit.
